In collaboration with Ambios Ltd myAcorn have developed a website featuring videos on different aspects of barn owl ecology. In these videos David Ramsden from the UK Barn Owl Trust introduces aspects of surveying and monitoring of this protected species. The project, funded by the Leonardo Partnership Programme is a pilot for capturing experience of European biodiversity monitoring from older workers.

The website demonstrates an interactive video player which users may play, pause, rewind and fastforward. Clicking on items in the menu to the side of the video window enables users to jump to different sections of the videos. While the videos are playing, translations provided by the Hungarian Barn Owl Trust and the Mammal Research Institute at the Polish Academy of Sciences are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
